Introduction
As a landscape photographer, I’ve had the privilege of visiting some of the most beautiful places on Earth. From deserts to mountains and coastlines to islands, there’s no shortage of amazing sights and vistas in this world!
This post is about my experience exploring Asia as a photographer. It includes my travels through Nepal and India before heading south into Southeast Asia where I spent several months taking pictures of Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and more!
Landscape photography is a hobby that has taken me all over the world, so when I was given the opportunity to travel to Asia I jumped at the chance.
The landscape photographer’s goal is simple: capture an image of nature at its most glorious. No matter what kind of environment you’re taking pictures in–be it mountains or deserts–you can create stunning photos by focusing on elements like light, color and perspective.
In contrast with other types of photography (such as portraiture), which focus on people or objects rather than scenery, landscape photographers often seek out remote areas where they can capture natural beauty without distraction from human activity or architecture.
The first country I visited was Nepal, where I met up with my friend and fellow photographer James O’Hanlon. We set off on an epic 4-day trek through the Himalayas where we experienced some of the most amazing scenery on Earth.
Nepal is a very beautiful country, and its home to some of the most amazing scenery on Earth. You can do a 4 day trek through the Himalayas where you will experience some of these incredible sights for yourself.
Nepal is one of those countries that has everything from snow-capped peaks to lush forests, all within close proximity to each other so it makes sense why people want to explore this country as much as possible!
After spending some time acclimatizing in Kathmandu, it was time to head south to India. India is a country like no other – it’s home to more religions than any other country on Earth, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism among many others.
The Himalayas are an extensive mountain range in Asia that stretches across Nepal and Bhutan all the way through China into Pakistan and India. Kathmandu is located at the base of these majestic peaks which provide stunning landscapes for photographers like myself!
Kathmandu has become famous over the years due to its temples and shrines that line its streets as well as its location within close proximity of two major religious sites: Pashupatinath Temple (Hindu) & Boudhanath Stupa (Buddhist).
It also has one of the most diverse landscapes known to man including deserts and coastlines stretching for thousands upon thousands of miles!
The Himalayas are an example of this amazing landscape, which covers half the country’s area and is home to many different types of animals such as tigers and leopards. The mountain range runs along India’s northern border with China and Nepal; it’s also where Mount Everest resides at 29,029 feet above sea level!
The last stop on this photographic journey was Southeast Asia, which includes countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand among many others.
Southeast Asia is a region that encompasses many countries, including Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand among others. It’s a place where you can find some of the most beautiful landscapes in all of Asia. The people are friendly and welcoming; the food is delicious and varied; there are so many things to do that you may not have time for all of them!
The first stop on this photographic journey was Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. I stayed at a hotel called The Heritage Hotel Deira Dubai Creek City Center Hotel which was very nice because it had great service as well as an amazing view from my room window looking out over Dubai Creek (this area used to be called “old” Dubai). During my stay there I ate at restaurants such as Lotus Cafe Bar & Restaurant located inside Al Qasr Hotel & Spa – Downtown Dubai Creek City Center Hotel & Spa where they serve dishes like Salmon steak with mashed potato & vegetables or Chicken breast stuffed with spinach & mozzarella cheese served with mashed potatoes & vegetables
Conclusion
The landscapes of Asia are truly amazing, and it’s easy to see why so many people travel here to experience them first-hand. From the Himalayas in Nepal all the way down to Malaysia and Singapore, there are so many different cultures and religions that each have their own unique way of life.
