Introduction
The Philippines has many beautiful places to visit. In this article, we will explore some of the best destinations in the world. You don’t want to miss these destinations!
Boracay
If you’re looking for a tropical getaway, Boracay is the place to go. The island is known for its white sand beaches and clear water. It’s also home to many resorts and hotels, making it easy for tourists to relax on their vacation. There are many restaurants and shops in Boracay where you can enjoy delicious food while taking in the sights of this beautiful island!
Batanes
Batanes is a group of islands in the northernmost tip of the Philippines, known for its white sand beaches, blue seas and coral reefs. The archipelago is home to a number of endemic species, including the Philippine eagle (the country’s national bird), fruit bats and giant clams.
It’s no wonder that this idyllic destination has been named one of Asia’s Best Islands by CNN Traveler magazine; if you’re looking for someplace off-the-beaten path but still full of culture and natural beauty then Batanes may be just right for you!
Palawan
Palawan is the largest province of the Philippines by land area and the fourth largest by population. The Palawan archipelago and its surrounding areas are often referred to as Palawan, which can be confusing because there are other provinces named “Palawan” in other parts of the country.
Palawan is known for its beaches, mountains and rainforests; it has a diverse ecosystem with a wide range of flora and fauna that makes it an ideal place for eco-tourism ventures.
Puerto Princesa Underground River
Located just 20 minutes from Puerto Princesa, the Underground River is one of the most popular sites in the Philippines. The underground river is a large cave system that flows with water throughout its length and was formed from limestone deposits millions of years ago.
The best time to visit this destination is during summer months as it’s much cooler than other times of year. If you want to experience more than just looking at nature and want some adventure, there are several activities that you can do around this area: kayaking through mangrove forests; snorkeling or scuba diving along coral reefs; horseback riding tours through jungle trails; mountain biking on dirt roads built by American soldiers during World War II; visiting historical sites like churches built by Spanish missionaries centuries ago (when they first came). You can also choose to stay overnight at one of many hotels nearby so that after exploring all day long, you can relax before heading home again!
Coron Island
Coron Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines. It’s home to some of the country’s most pristine beaches, as well as a natural wonder that will leave you speechless: Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park.
On my trip there, I stayed at a resort called Coron Beach Club (www.coronbeachclubhotel.com). The rooms were clean and beautiful, with ocean views from every window! They also had free breakfast every morning consisting of eggs or pancakes plus juice or coffee–a great way to start your day!
The highlight for me was spending time exploring Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park by snorkeling over some amazing coral reefs filled with colorful fish species like starfish and sea horses (pictured above). The water was warm enough that even on an overcast day like this one we could swim around without getting cold; however if you do want something warmer then bring along some extra layers just in case because temperatures drop at night here especially during winter months when humidity levels tend toward zero percent.”
Sagada
Sagada is a municipality in Mountain Province, Philippines. It is known as the “Hanging Coffins” of the Philippines due to its famous burial caves where coffins are hung on walls instead of being buried underground. The town’s name is derived from a legend that says that it was founded by Datu Sikatuna, an ancestor of Rajah Mangubat who ruled over this land before Spanish colonization.
