Introduction
One of the best parts about traveling is that you get to explore a new place, see new things and try new experiences. But it’s also nice to have some recommendations for what to do when you’re there. That’s where we come in! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite outdoor activities in La Paz so that you can really get out there and have fun while visiting this incredible city.
Hike The Ruta Del Sol
The Ruta del Sol is a popular hiking trail in La Paz. Located in the Sierra Madre Mountains, it’s 13km long and considered a challenge but well worth the effort for its beauty. There are several ways to access it: you can start at either end and make your way up or down (although most people do it from bottom to top). If you decide to go all out and hike both ways, make sure to carry plenty of water with you!
Once on the trail, there are many opportunities for scenic views as well as places where locals sell snacks and drinks so hikers don’t have to carry anything with them besides their camera equipment if they want photos along their journey.#ENDWRITE
